entry by Astari G. Swatantri

Award
Award from Japan Jewellery Designers Association

Themes
Contest themes: “Stories”

My piece was inspired by inspired by a form of stories, the quest. A quest is a form of stories, about a mission to find something special. The journey starts from a regular life (represented by the chain necklace) straight into unusual places (represented by various unique shapes that connect with each other, some more obvious, some more mysterious), all lead to something truly special (the focal point). Along the experiences, there are usually helpers and friends (little stone columns). Everyone could have personal quests, go through extraordinary ways and arrive at something meaningful. More about the piece on my blog post: “The Quest”

Feature
Front part or top layer of the focal point could be worn separately as a pendant by itself.
