I started painting in oil as a teenager, then in acrylic, and after quite a long period without painting, in the past years I paint exclusively in watercolor. Watercolor is, legend says, the toughest painting medium out there, and I’ve proven that it is so. I love the medium so much. It teaches me incredible things, among others how by trusting water – my collaborator – magic can happen on the paper.
Miniature watercolor painting is a specialty of mine, which I also often incorporate in my jewelry. I also paint larger sizes, where loose, expressive vibrant colors give me so much joy and energy, and I hope you will feel the same when you look at my paintings.
