A while back, I had the privilege of sharing my thoughts for an interview with Kruunu Museo, the horology and jewelry museum in Espoo, Finland (the only one in Nordic countries, in fact!). It took place during the exhibition of Aqua Ambra Aquila Jewelry Competition, where I won first place. The interview was conducted by email, with questions around different aspects of my creative journey, jewelry art, and Kruunu’s My World II exhibition.
After the interview, months passed, so discovering it recently, already published as a blog post titled ‘Esittelyssä : Astari Swatantri’, was such a lovely surprise! Reading it again reminded me how moving the exchange was and how I also learned more about myself in the process.

In the interview, I spoke about several in-depth topics, such as how I challenge myself in my work (often leading to my most rewarding pieces) and the energy of collaborating with artist friend Meira Rauta through Leaves&Love Jewelry Exhibition at Helsinki Winter Garden (now entering its 7th edition, watch this space for the announcement).
I’m truly grateful to Kruunu Museo for the opportunity to share my reflections and for providing such a unique and special place dedicated for jewelry art. I hope the blog post inspires you to embrace creative challenges, collaborations, and moments that make your own journey special. And of course, if you love art or jewelry, be sure to visit Kruunu Museo, where inspiring exhibitions and events are always changing, offering something new to discover every time!

The interview was conducted in English and translated into Finnish. You can use an online translator, such as Google translate, to read it in any other language. You can find the full interview here: https://www.kellojakorumuseo.fi/blogi/esittelyssa-astari-swatantri
