Reflecting on 2024 Creative Journey

I’m so grateful on what has been an extraordinary year with an exciting journey, and I’m delighted to share some of the highlights with you.

Things to Celebrate
This year marked several significant milestones in my artistic journey:
• Awards: I was honored to receive the 1st Place at Aqua Ambra Aquila International Jewelry Competition. Through my piece I.Sea.You. ring series I portray the coral bleaching phenomenon and voice the challenges the oceans face. Beside my go-to material of recycled silver, I also explored using new recycled material, something that I’d definitely do more of in the coming time.

• Exhibitions: I had the privilege of showcasing my work in these exhibitions:
o “Flowers in the City” Watercolor Painting Exhibition at Helsinki Winter Garden. It marked a milestone for my watercolor painting, as it was my first solo exhibition.

o “Aqua Ambra Aquila” International Jewelry Competition at Vellamo Maritime Center Kotka, a group exhibition together with finalists of the competition.

o “Leaves & Love 2024” Duo Jewelry Exhibition where I showcased new pieces inspired by my winning piece with my theme “I.Sea.You.2”. I was thrilled to receive delightful feedback from visitors, and many expressed how they learned new things about the environment, specifically the corals living in the sea.

• Community: Sharing my passions through the open studio and workshops, as well as continuing sharing on my Youtube channel is always a joy.

Looking Ahead to 2025
With the new year comes new experiences. I’ll continue art and creative activities that I’ve been doing, and as we know plans often change, with many opportunities coming along the way. In a glance, here is a sneak peak of some things coming:
• First exhibition of the year: Aqua Ambra Aquila will continue with the second exhibition, this time at the Kello & Koru Museo at Espoo. It will be open from the end of January until March 2025.
• Community: I’m exploring different platforms to find out the best way to connect with fellow art enthusiasts outside my most active platform on Youtube.
• Artwork: I’ve been asked about my artworks, and I’m learning about possibilities to have an online shop. Maybe a pop-up shop? Let’s see, stay tuned!

Gratitude and Wishes for the New Year
In 2024, I also often find myself in my own space, doing art and focusing on simply creating (often offline, no internet!). There are so many things to discover and learn. I want to thank you for your support—whether through attending an exhibition of my artwork, sharing lovely words, or following my journey online. Here’s to a 2025 filled with love and light. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Happy New Year!
